What Caddy says
From caddy.app and their use-case pages: "Meet Caddy, your Personal AI." Message Caddy. No separate consumer app required for messaging. Public beta (homepage FAQ). Terms say trials or beta may be incomplete, and some features may require payment later. No /pricing page. We are not inventing a free forever price or a paid dollar amount from third-party blogs alone.
Channels (FAQ): iPhone blue bubbles via iMessage. Android via RCS. Terms also name SMS and RCS. We are not inventing WhatsApp or Telegram for them.
Onboarding: /login asks for a phone number ("Sign in to Caddy with your phone number"). FAQ: messaging a new number only works for people who already have a Caddy account. Contrast with our public number and no account.
